Frequently asked questions.

How do I request a donation?

We are committed to supporting the local communities we operate in. Please check out our donations page for more information on our fundraising efforts.

Do I need reservations?

We accept reservations for groups of 6 or more. For parties smaller than 6, we seat anytime on a first come, first serve basis.

How long does it take to paint a piece?

The paint time for an adult is usually 1 or 2 hours, children usually paint in 1 hour or less. Of course, this can vary depending on the size of the piece and the level of detail. If you do not finish your piece in one sitting we will gladly store your piece in our work-in-progress area for 30 days.  Pieces will be ready to pick up 1 week after they are finished.

Do you have any age restrictions?

No, all ages and abilities are welcome.  We make the process fun and easy so all ages and abilities will have a great time painting their own one-of-a-kind masterpiece.

Is it safe to eat or drink out of the pieces?

Yes, all of our paints and glazes are lead-free and all finished pieces are food safe.

Are pieces dishwasher and/or microwave safe?

Your pieces are a hand painted work of art and sometimes irreplaceable (kid handprints) so we do not recommend putting them in the dishwasher or microwave.

I live out of town, can you ship finished pottery?

Unfortunately, the glazing & firing process does take 1 week from the day you paint. We can arrange for your pottery to be shipped to you when it is finished. The shipping charge is per address, and usually starts at $15.  It will arrive in about 2 weeks.
