Introducing Kiln Kitchen: Functional pottery paired with food, wine & cider
We’ve always believed pottery is better when you actually use it.
So we created Kiln Kitchen — a series where we pair functional pottery with recipes, tastings, local flavors, and the very important business of eating something delicious while you paint.
Each Kiln Kitchen event is a little different. Sometimes we’re painting stoneware made for a specific recipe, sometimes we’re partnering with one of our favorite local businesses, and sometimes we simply decided that pottery class needed cake.

Here’s what’s coming to the table:
🍎 CLAY, CAKE & CIDER | URBAN VINES
This one started with a tiny handmade baking dish and turned into an entire cake.
Paint a handmade stoneware baker sized specifically for our original Hard Cider Cake, then taste the cake made with Urban Apples cider and warm chai spices while enjoying your first glass of cider.
You’ll go home with the original recipe and a chai spice packet measured for your first cake, then pick up your finished stoneware baker after firing.
🍷 DIP, SIP & STONEWARE | URBAN VINES
Paint a stoneware dip bowl while we snack on our featured dip with fresh sourdough bread and enjoy a glass of Urban Vines wine.
You’ll take home the recipe, and after we glaze and fire your bowl, you’ll have the perfect piece to make and serve it in again and again.
Your first glass of wine is included.
🧄 A DAY IN TUSCANY | THE SPICE & TEA EXCHANGE

We're bringing a little Tuscany to Noblesville on 10/30.
Paint a functional ceramic garlic grater while tasting a simple garlic and herb dip featuring the Tuscan spice blend from The Spice & Tea Exchange.
Each guest receives a 1 oz packet of Tuscan spices to take home, so when your pottery comes back from the kiln, you can grate the garlic, add your spices, tear off a piece of bread and make it all over again.
🍰 STONEWARE & STREUSEL | THE SPICE & TEA EXCHANGE
Yes, we're giving you an extremely good reason to own a stoneware tube pan.
Paint your own stoneware tube pan while tasting Cinnamon Vanilla Coffee Cake, paired with Warm Bread Tea from The Spice & Tea Exchange.
You'll take home the recipe so you can recreate the cake in your finished stoneware once it comes back from the kiln — and there may just be a few extra goodies involved, because apparently we've decided pottery classes should come with snacks now.
This is Kiln Kitchen.
Pottery you don't just put on a shelf. Recipes you'll actually make. Local businesses we love. Good food, good drinks, and an excuse to gather around the table.
Come make something you'll use long after the event is over.
