A Hug You Can Keep Forever

Some moments are impossible to put into words.

The way your little one wraps both arms around you after a long day.

The squeeze from your partner when you're laughing so hard neither of you can breathe.

The hug from your mom that somehow still makes everything feel okay.

We don't usually think about hugs while they're happening. We certainly don't imagine that one day we'll wish we could hold onto them forever.

That's exactly why we fell in love with Hug Vases.

More Than a Pottery Class

When people first hear about our Hug Vase experience, they usually ask, "Wait...how does that work?" The answer is surprisingly simple.

Before you arrive, we throw a beautiful vase on the pottery wheel and let it reach just the right stage. Then comes the part that makes this project unlike anything else we offer.

You hug it.

Really.

Whether it's two spouses, a parent and child, siblings, best friends, or grandparents with their grandkids, you wrap your arms around the vase together and gently press your embrace into the clay. When you step back, your hug is still there. The fingerprints fade.

The memory doesn't.

Every Vase Tells a Different Story

One of our favorite things about these classes is that no two vases ever look alike.

A couple celebrating their first anniversary leaves a different imprint than grandparents surrounded by grandchildren.

A mother hugging her son creates something different than two sisters laughing so hard they can barely stand still.

The Gift You Didn't Know You Needed

We've watched people make Hug Vases for anniversaries, weddings, Mother's Day, milestone birthdays, and "just because."

Some fill them with flowers.

Some keep them on the mantel.

Some say they smile every time they walk past them because they remember exactly how that day felt.

It's funny how a simple piece of clay can hold so much emotion.

A Date Night You'll Actually Remember

Dinner is wonderful, movies are fun.

But a month from now, it's hard to remember what you ordered or what previews played before the movie started. A Hug Vase is different.

You create something together, laugh a little, probably make a joke about who's squeezing too hard, and leave knowing you'll have a keepsake that's unlike anything you could buy in a store. It's a date you'll still be talking about years later.

It Doesn't Have to Be Romantic

One of the biggest surprises has been seeing who chooses to make Hug Vases.

Parents and children. Adult siblings. Best friends celebrating decades of friendship.

Grandparents with grandchildren. We've even had families create one together to celebrate a new home or a special milestone. Because at the end of the day, this isn't really about romance, it's about connection.

Twenty Years From Now...

We hope you'll still have your vase. Maybe it'll be sitting on a dining room table with fresh flowers, maybe it'll be on a shelf in the living room, maybe it'll be tucked away somewhere safe until your kids are grown. Wherever it ends up, we hope one day you'll run your hand over those impressions in the clay and remember exactly who was standing beside you. Because life moves fast.

Kids grow up.

Parents grow older.

Friends move away.

The pottery will always be there to remind you of one ordinary day that quietly became one you'll never forget.

Ready to Make One Together?

Our Hug Vase experience is available by reservation, and because we prepare each vase before you arrive, advance booking is required.

Whether you're celebrating an anniversary, creating a family keepsake, or simply looking for a different kind of date night, we'd be honored to help you preserve a moment you'll treasure for years to come.

These memories won't make themselves. 💜
