Every year, it starts the same way.

You spend twenty minutes wandering the pumpkin patch looking for the one. Not too tall. Not too short. A good stem. No weird flat side.

You haul it home, cover the table with newspaper, dig through a mountain of pumpkin guts, somehow end up with pumpkin strings in your hair, and spend an hour carving the perfect face.

Then...

About a week later, it starts looking suspiciously...squishy.

A few days after that, it's melting into the porch.

We think your hard work deserves better.

That's why this year, we're doing something a little different.

Carve a Pumpkin You'll Bring Out Every Halloween

Instead of carving a real pumpkin that lasts a week, you'll carve a real clay pumpkin that can come back out year after year.

Before class, we'll pour a large hollow pumpkin from liquid clay and let it reach the perfect stage for carving. When you arrive, it'll be soft enough to cut, sculpt, and customize, giving you all the fun of pumpkin carving without fighting through a pumpkin that's too hard...or accidentally cutting through the back because the knife slipped.

Easier Than a Real Pumpkin. Way More Permanent.

One of the best parts of carving clay is that it gives you time to be creative.

The clay is soft and forgiving, so intricate patterns, tiny details, and custom designs are much easier than they are on a traditional pumpkin. Once you've finished carving, you'll paint your pumpkin, and we'll fire it in the kiln so it's ready to become part of your Halloween decorations for years to come.
